The craziest offenses are getting the young and not-so-innocent arrested lately.
University of Florida’s star linebacker, Antonio Morrison, 19, was arrested on Sunday morning for approaching the window of a police squad car in front of a night club and barking at the K-9 inside. Police were at the night club responding to a non-related incident when Morrison thought he’d bark at the dog because he barked at him, according to the Daily Mail. If this is sounding really dumb, wait, it gets worse.
This is the second offense for the linebacker that has landed him in lock-up in the last five weeks. He’s already been suspended for the first two games of the new season and the first arrest was for assaulting a bouncer outside a Gainesville, Florida, bar. They gave him the chance to wipe the slate clean if he simply stayed out of trouble, ”attended a drug and alcohol abuse program at UF, attended anger management classes and completed two ride-alongs with campus police,” according to a report in the Gainesville Sun.
